Introduction

Love Peapie LLC ("Love Peapie," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Love, Peapie™ mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when people use the Services.

Love, Peapie™ is designed to help adults preserve personal and family memories, including photographs, videos, letters, milestones, voice notes, and comments. User Content is not public by default and is intended for the Owner and authorized Guests within the applicable Collection according to the permissions described in the Services.

Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

Love, Peapie™ shall collect information needed to create and maintain a Subscriber account, such as name, email address, screen name, age-verification information or result, subscription information, Collection roles and access, and account settings.

User Content

Owners may create or upload photos, videos, letters, milestones, voice notes, dates, captions, and other memory content within their Owner Collections. Invited Guests may participate in comments and reactions associated with Owner Content. User Content may include information about or images of children and people who do not themselves have Love, Peapie™ Subscriber accounts.

Guest Information

When an Owner invites a Guest, we may process the invitee’s email address and, after the invitee creates or signs in to a Subscriber account and accepts the invitation, information associated with that Subscriber’s Guest role and access to the applicable Owner Collection.

Purchase and Subscription Information

We may receive transaction, subscription, entitlement, and related purchase information from app stores, payment providers, or Keepsake Book providers. We do not intend to collect full payment-card details when those details are handled directly by a third-party payment provider.

Device, Usage, Analytics, & Advertising Information

The Services may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, crash or diagnostic information, interactions with features, and similar usage data. Love, Peapie™ is expected to include non-intrusive in-app advertising. The exact analytics and advertising technologies and the data they process must be confirmed before publication.

Communications

Love, Peapie™ shall collect information users provide when contacting us for support, privacy requests, complaints, or other communications

Children and Information About Children

Love, Peapie™ Subscriber accounts may not be created by individuals under age 16. The Services may, however, contain photographs, videos, memories, and other User Content about children because preserving family memories is a core purpose of the Services.

Owners are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to upload or create User Content involving other people, including children.

How We Use Information

Love, Peapie™ shall use information to provide and maintain the Services; create and administer Subscriber accounts; store and display User Content according to applicable Collection roles and permissions; enable invitations, comments, and reactions; process subscriptions and purchases; create Keepsake Books and PDFs; generate and maintain QR-linked media experiences; provide customer support; send service and policy communications; protect the Services and users; detect abuse, fraud, prohibited content, or security incidents; comply with legal obligations; analyze and improve performance; and operate approved advertising features.

Love, Peapie™ does not use private User Content as public marketing content. Any use of data for advertising must remain consistent with this Policy and the final advertising implementation.

How Content Is Shared Within a Collection

Photos and videos may be viewed by the Owner and authorized Guests. Comments and reactions associated with shared content may be viewed by the Owner and authorized Guests.

Letters, milestones, and voice notes are private Owner Content and are not visible to Guests. Guests cannot see indications that private letters, milestones, or voice notes exist. Guests cannot upload photos, videos, letters, milestones, voice notes, or similar Owner Content into another Owner’s Collection.

Only the Owner may invite Guests. Removing a Guest immediately revokes that Guest’s access to the Collection; a new invitation is required to restore access.

Keepsake Books, PDFs, and QR-Linked Media

Owners may create and purchase Keepsake Books from their Owner Collections. Guests may create and purchase their own Keepsake Book PDF using only content they are authorized to access within the applicable Owner Collection. Creating a Keepsake Book PDF does not expand a Guest’s access or permissions within the Owner Collection.

Love, Peapie™Love, Peapie generates the completed Keepsake Book as a PDF using the content authorized for inclusion in that book. The completed PDF may contain photos, written content, comments, dates, page layouts, and QR codes that link to eligible videos or voice notes, as applicable to the person creating the book.

For printed Keepsake Books, Love, Peapie™ may provide the completed PDF to an approved third-party printing or fulfillment provider for printing, binding, shipping, and related order fulfillment. The printing or fulfillment provider does not require access to the customer’s Love, Peapie™ account or Owner Collection and is not provided the individual source photos, videos, voice notes, letters, milestones, comments, or other underlying files separately from the completed PDF.

The completed PDF itself contains User Content. We therefore intend to limit the printing or fulfillment provider’s access to the completed PDF and other information reasonably necessary to produce, fulfill, and ship the customer’s order, and to require appropriate privacy, security, confidentiality, retention, and deletion protections.

Videos and voice notes may be represented in a Keepsake Book through QR codes generated when the book is created. QR-linked media is intended to support long-term access and remains hosted separately from the completed PDF and printing provider. Specific hosting, deletion, and retention mechanics are addressed in Love, Peapie’s account lifecycle and data-retention rules and remain subject to final technical confirmation.

Advertising and Analytics

Love, Peapie™ will display non-intrusive advertising within the app. Advertising may require limited technical data to load, measure, secure, or report ads. We will update this section before publication once the advertising provider(s), SDK(s), and data practices are finalized.

Analytics may be used to understand app performance, crashes, feature usage, and service reliability. Amazon Web Services is currently anticipated for cloud/storage services. Firebase has been considered for analytics, but its use and configuration require confirmation.

Love, Peapie™ shall not describe advertising as personalized, behavioral, or cross-app tracking unless and until those practices are affirmatively adopted and disclosed.

Service Providers and Third Parties

Love, Peapie™ shall disclose information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and storage, email and communications, analytics, security and content-safety services, payment processing, app distribution, and book printing or fulfillment.

Current or anticipated providers include Amazon Web Services for cloud/storage and Wix and/or Google Workspace for website or email functions. The final analytics provider, payment processor, printing provider, advertising provider(s), and other app services remain to be confirmed.

Where practicable, Love Peapie LLC intends to require vendors and subcontractors handling Love, Peapie™ content to process or handle that content in the United States unless a future exception is approved.

App Stores and External Services

The Love, Peapie™ app is intended to be distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those platforms may independently process information under their own privacy practices.

Purchases, subscriptions, or other transactions handled by an app store or external provider are also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

Data Retention

Love, Peapie™ retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, satisfy the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, meet legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and follow applicable retention schedules.

The end of an Owner Collection’s paid subscription does not mean deletion of the Subscriber account or Owner Collection. When the paid subscription for an Owner Collection actually ends, the Owner Collection becomes inactive and enters read-only status under the applicable account-lifecycle and retention rules.

Separate rules apply to inactive Subscriber accounts, deletion requests, legal or safety holds, and QR-linked Keepsake media.

Love, Peapie™ maintains a separate public-facing Data Retention Schedule that should be read together with this Privacy Policy.

Account Deletion is Permanent

If you decide to close your Love, Peapie™ account, you can permanently delete it directly through the mobile app.

To request account deletion, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete Account.

Deleting your account is permanent. There is no recovery period, and once deletion is completed, your account and deleted memories cannot be restored.

Before confirming your request, please carefully review the following information:

Your Account and Memories

Permanently deleting your account removes your account identity and associated account data, including stored content.

Collection Owners

If you are the Owner of a Collection, deleting your account also removes the associated Collection, Guest access, and stored content. This may affect other family members who have access to the Collection.

Keepsake Books and QR-Linked Memories

Physical Keepsake Books that have already been printed cannot be changed or recalled.
When a Keepsake Book is created, the digital memories associated with its QR codes are preserved in a separate long-term storage system. These archived memories are maintained independently of the original Love, Peapie™ account to support continued access through the printed Keepsake Book.
When an account is deleted, Love, Peapie™ checks for completed Keepsake Books. Digital memories associated with completed Keepsake Books are retained according to the Keepsake Book archival and retention policy. Digital memories that have not been archived as part of a completed Keepsake Book are deleted with the account, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Love, Peapie™ account does not necessarily cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You may need to cancel your subscription separately through your app store to prevent future charges.
Please be certain before proceeding. Account deletion is intended to be permanent, and Love, Peapie™ does not offer an account recovery period.

Security

Love, Peapie™ uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
Planned safeguards include measures such as authentication controls and appropriate vendor security requirements. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Safety and Legal Disclosures

Love, Peapie™ may preserve, review, restrict, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse or security incidents, enforce its policies, or make legally required reports.
Content involving suspected child sexual exploitation or other serious prohibited conduct may be suspended, preserved, reviewed, and reported to appropriate authorities or organizations as required by law.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on the functionality available, a Subscriber’s role within the applicable Collection, and applicable law, Subscribers may be able to access or update account information, manage notification settings, remove their own content, manage Guest access where they are the Owner, cancel applicable Owner Collection subscriptions, request account deletion, or exercise applicable privacy rights.
Privacy requests may be sent to info@lovepeapie.com. Love, Peapie™ may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing certain requests.

U.S. Operations

Love Peapie LLC is a Texas limited liability company. The Love, Peapie™ Services are currently intended for U.S. operations.
Love, Peapie™ maintains a business preference for third-party handling of its content to remain within the United States unless a future exception is approved and appropriately disclosed.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Love, Peapie™ may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices change.
When appropriate, Love, Peapie™ may notify users of material changes by email or through the Services.
Love Peapie LLC intends to retain prior versions of this Privacy Policy internally.
